Dr. Barbara Yandell
and Hope for the Nations

Barbara Yandell has served global missions through mobilizing, training, seminars, classes, outreaches, and conferences for 25 years. 

  • Editor of Engage Curriculum and book

  • Creator of the Engage Course

  • National speaker, mentor, professor of record, and coordinator for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement Course

  • Teaching staff for Horizons International via Engaging Islam and the Engage course

  • Creator of Legacy Conference, reclaiming the Legacy of the Student Volunteer Movement and great pioneer missionaries such as Samuel Zwemer

  • Founding board member of the Alliance of Reformed Churches...Global Alliance Missions Mobilizer

  • Frequent Church, mission conference, campus, and mission organization speaker

  • Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary MDiv., Western Theological Seminary DMin.

  • Mobilizer for Interserve USA

  • Volunteer trainer for workers at Muslim Refugee centers in Grand Rapids and Holland, MI,

  • Co-creator and leader of an annual missions fundraising auction for Cuban Churches, the Middle East Center in Beirut, and various other missions.

 

She sees her calling as teaching, creating missions mobilization events, seminars, and outreaches, and encouraging and mentoring colleagues, students, and cross-cultural workers.

 

She has her house near her extended family in Roundrock, Texas, but spends most of her time on the road teaching and speaking. Holland Mi is her second home. She is devoted to family, friends, missions partners, and pastors networks.

 

Barbara loves gardening (award winner yard), cooking Italian, dinner parties, Christmas, movies, and strong black coffee.
